Are there any thoughts on the burning speed of the cd? Should I slow it down to pick up stability/reliability?

What about copying & pasting the entire project itnto a new Vegas document? Maybe that will take care of the problem. It’s worked for me in the past.

Should I render from Vegas(7) an .avi file and take that into Quicktime for the compressing? Is that the best format from Vegas for Quicktime to compress?

Jim, thanks for the info. I guess where I’m at now is that I don’t want to spend a bunch of money on this at least not right now. On the blipTV website they recommend using QuickTime Pro ($30) and they give a list of settings to use https: //blip.tv/learning/export/ (blip .tv is now inactive)
Obviously QuickTime Pro shouldn’t compare to a really expensive software/codec, but for $30 I wonder if it’s worth trying. Since you seem to be well versed in this area what are your thoughts?

I’m with you for the most part, but a couple of questions.

“After editing I save it as 720.veg” “I save this as 360.veg.”
What is a “720”.veg & a “360” veg?

“I have the Adobe flash CS3 video encoder so I then use the On2 VP6 encoder to render it to flash……”
Is the On2 VP6 part of Adobe Flash?
What would I need to get this or something comparable without getting cs3 (I’m on a pc)?

Ron, thanks for the info. I have a friend who works where there is equipment with a TBC. I’m hoping he can have his guys check into this for me. I’ll try to post the outcome.

I know the picture is really horrible, but if I could just get rid of the wavy lines the school would be thrilled.

Hi Rick, yes the sample pic does have similarities to what I am seeing. The only difference seems to be that what I’m seeing is only part of the image, where the sample has lines over the whole image.
Thanks for the info, I am going to check if maybe the local cable studio can help me out. I’d be interested in purchasing one of the TBC’s if I was only sure that that is the problem. Do the TBC’s boost the signal coming out of the VCR?
