It’s probably due to the CMOS sensor. You can try rendering with lower field first, and two-pass won’t hurt things either.

I bet that the remote login display driver that is showing under Display Adapters is causing an issue. Wouldn’t surprise me that if you uninstalled that application that your Radeon card appears.

In your Windows device manager, are any other display adapters listed along with your Radeon card? I’m thinking that quite possibly your motherboard and/or processor has integrated graphics and it wasn’t disabled in the BIOS. If this is the case you will have 2 graphics adapters listed in the device manager.

Stephen is right- your computer isn’t powerful enough, which is why you’re getting the stuttering & freezing. That processor might be fine enough for lower-quality HD footage (ie- footage below 24 mb/s), but high-quality 1080 footage is taxing your hardware.
Sorry to say, but it’s time to upgrade to an Intel Ivy Bridge processor and Z77 chipset motherboard. With today’s memory prices, i’d get 16gb of RAM minimum. Plus, you never stated what type of drive(s) your video footage is residing on.

No, but it’ll show the error messages that are causing his crash. More than likely you are correct and it’s temp related (or bad power supply).

All the evidence you will need will be in your Windows Event Viewer. Look for the exclamation points at the exact time of the crash.

If there is a Sony folder in that directory, delete it. Then try again. Also, you should only be installing the version that is appropriate for your OS (64 or 32-bit, not both).

Microsoft has an uninstaller on their site. I don’t recall the name of it, but it fixed the same type of error I was getting a few years ago with a previously installed version of TurboTax.

What’s the problem you are having? Are you wanting a full-screen 1080 video? Need more specifics…..
