  • Thanks Kevin…I will be sure to check out the site. As for the particular issue I am having: I am wanting to use HDV 1080i 60 footage (shot with SONY HVR A1-u) along with DVCPRO HD 1080i footage (shot with Panasonic HDX 900). In thier own seperately configured timeline they look great (and no rendering necessary)! However, once I try to combine the footage, some very obvious distortion occurs after I render (like interlacing or strobing?). Am I wrong thinking that FCP was able to combine various formats easily? Does this make sense at all? Thanks again Kevin

    Great Keith…thank you. After creating a new sequence I then pressed apple Zero and changed the sequence settings to match the captured video settings. The field dominance was selected to “none” when in fact it needed to be changed to “upper”. By doing all of this the clips no longer need to be rendered. Again, Thank you!
