Sounds pretty straightforward.

How, though, do I know if our system can handle capturing uncompressed 8-bit or DVCPRO-HD? I’d hate to rent the HDCAM deck to find out our machine/drive speed is insufficient.

We’re running:

Dual 2.7Ghz PPC
4 GB RAM
10.4.11

AJA 2 card

Fiber Optic RAID drive

This is a program that will be distributed via the web, meaning it will not be viewed on any monitors. So, does this mean that the text I use will not be clear, ever?
