Have you found a solution to this yet? I’m in a similar situation with the difference being that my software doesn’t crash. I’m a FInal Cut/Blackmagic user who is currently evaluating Premiere and I too am used to just switching my output devices at will, but in Premiere I can’t get audio through my headphones when working in a Blackmagic sequence. Is there something other than setting the Default Device to Built-in Output and mapping the output to the headphones that I need to be doing?

No. We only have a consumer HDTV connected for confidence monitoring. I’ve checked the raw files and they look good so it’s only once they are in FCP that they darken like that.

Has anyone found a fix for this? I’ve had the same trouble since upgrading to Snow Leopard. Audio that plays through channel 1 sounds like I’m scrubbing through it really quickly, then it goes silent though the audio meter seems to give me correct levels (if that audio still happened to be playing) even though it stopped playing audio after that quick scrub at the beginning.

Makes it sort of impossible to log and mark good shots when I can’t hear what the people are saying.

I think a little more explanation is in order. They wanted to show the Cars.com site as an example of how they shop around and beat the competitors’ prices.

I have thought of a followup question. What’s the word on just using the name of a competitor? I’m thinking along the lines of the Progressive Insurance commercials where they show that board with State Farm, Allstate, etc. Could I make a search results page that simply has a list of results like “Cars.com $17,599”?

Thanks for all of the help on this one. Here’s what I found.

The border was fitting to the size of the photos in the group I had nested within the border group. When I switched it to 3D, the border jumped out to the full size of the 720×480 group. So I went back to 2D and clicked the fixed resolution box on the border group and nested in a new group and made that group 3D and everything was good. Did that make any sense at all?

1.)2D Layered Pictures ->2.)2D Group with border filter ->3.) 3D Group

I’m trying to learn Motion because I’ve been using AE for stuff I thought I could do in Motion, but didn’t have the time to figure it out. Now I’m on a streamlining mission and part of that is to stop rendering AE files when I can just do them in Motion.

Wondering if you ever came up with a solution for this as I’m having the same problem.

FCP 6.0.5 and when I go to batch capture offline P2 media, it opens the Log and Capture window rather than Log and Transfer. First time I’ve ever seen this happen.
