  • I will use apple prores LT and h.264 for codec, with 29,97 frame rate and frame size will be eather 1920 x 1080 from a DSLR CANON and also from Sony HXR-NX5 NXCAM based on the AVCHD technology. using recording frame rate AVCHD FX (24Mbps) 1920×1080/50. Do you think its better to capture on de hard drive inside the PC rather then capturing on the external hard drive? Iheard that tou can lose frames capturing with external hardrive.
    Thanks

    Thanks to all of you for the ansewers
    @Michael Johnston
    Unfortunately the Sony NXCAM wasnt mine and I thought that was setup ok, but wasnt. They use FCP for editing that’s why wasnt a problem.
    In the way I read, the only chance that I have is to work with
    ClipWrap and then editing in FCP 7.03.
    But because I dont have acces on MAC can someone tell me a solution if I use Adobe Premiere CS4? the clips are longer than 5 minutes (for MPEG Streamclip).
    Maybe someone can tell me if I get CS5 I will be able to work with the m2ts files? If yes, my sistem is 32 bits, can I install Adobe CS5?, I heard that work only with 64bits sistem?
    Or maybe someone nows a way to convert the files?
    Thanks and I am waiting for your answer.
