    To say “self animating” effects are a waste of money is a bit ridiculous. It’s exactly why Adobe introduced Animation presets to AE several versions back. If you’re a pro, you’re glad to have every tool in your belt that you can have. In the end it’s the finished product that matters.

    Thanks Adam. But I am going for a standard Computer resolution of 1024×768 and not HD or SD video. Actually I had a successful test last night just by trying some different combinations of the settings. I chose the “raw” option instead of “full screen”. I think that is a bit ironic since what I was after was a full screen display. The “full screen” setting gave me a view about 60% of actual full screen. Weird.

    Try imageflow from core melt. It’s a life saver. You can get a lot of effects by tweaking the settings. They have a free 15 day trial version so you can check it out. Good luck
