I see the USB3.0 connectivity of the ultrastudio SDI opening some nice possibilities there.

Same problems here in Brazil.

You could try a single i7980x (6 cores) and OC it to 4Gz.

I think it would give quite a speed bump.

I heard on the Davinci Reduser forum about a similar setup.

I’m curious about the one graphics card setup with two monitors.

Wouldn’t a cheaper GT card for GUI work for that, releasing the gtx480 just for the nodes ptocessing?

I see the UD5 has only 4 Pcie with two gtx480 and a decklink I guess you’re out of slots. A 1 slot GUI card would make more sence IMHO.

Can you share some specs on your H-sh system? (MB-CPU-Mem-Pci-e)

I have 2009 2.26 gt120/gtx285 and I’m not impressed with the perfomance so far.
