Resolve 7.0.1 posted
Posted by Kristian Lam on September 17, 2010 at 11:21 pmHi all,
We’ve just posted Resolve 7.0.1 which adds support for DeckLink HD Extreme 3D+. The downloads are available here:
https://blackmagic-design.com/support/software/
We’ll be updating the DaVinci website in the upcoming days to host the software updates as well.
regards

September 18, 2010 at 6:38 amIs there any difference between the DeckLink HD Extreme 3D & DeckLink HD Extreme 3D+ or is this the same card?

September 18, 2010 at 8:21 amThe Decklink HD Extreme 3D+ supports HDMI 1.4 so you can do full frame sequential 3D stereoscopic output.

September 18, 2010 at 12:38 pmDo I need the latest Decklink or can I use my HD extreme to run Resolve?

September 18, 2010 at 2:41 pmI thought the new HDMI 1.4 capability was just a driver/software update to the current Extreme 3D card. I just ordered the Extreme 3D from my reseller and did not know I needed to specify the “Extreme 3D+” version (I do stereoscopic work). I’ll try to find out if it is a different card or just a software update.

September 18, 2010 at 3:09 pmI find this interesting. From the readme of the new Decklink 7.9 driver.
What’s new in DeckLink 7.9

September 18, 2010 at 7:54 pmI’ve been trying to figure this out too. It also seems like the + came out only a few months after 3D’s release. Would be a shame for this to require all new hardware

September 19, 2010 at 12:46 amCould you clarify where you got that information distinguishing the 3d from the 3d+? I don’t see it anywhere on their site, which labels the 3d as 1.4 compliant. My “3d” box and manual don’t specify anything.
