Ah thank you. That would make sense. And yeah, the amount of finesse in this work is amazing. Worth the 20 bucks if I were to have to use it from all the hard work from the subtle movements and precisely eased key framing, color grading and lighting, and to the DOF camera motions.

  • And unless you are a freelancer, most organizations want you to be the jack of all trades in print making, illustration, and motion just as a video editor would be for editing, photography, story telling, interviewing, and so forth.

School of Visual Arts, New York, Ringling in Florida, Temple, and a few others in California all have good programs. They all have comparable programs that you have to look over based on your specific needs – just get ready for 120 credits of rounded graphic art principles and design because motion graphics in most top schools is considered a specialization.

I don’t have Trapcode in front of me, but I believe you have to change the emitter sub frame to something like “10x Linear”. This option is under Emitter on your particular layer.

I am thinking they used particular or maybe even the built in cc particle system. In particular I looked up how you can use words as a particle. You just have to put each word on its own layer and offset them in a comp, then select the comp as the particle like shown here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UfkrYD-qBn8&t=731s

You can also see displacement. I can replicate this in AE, just need to know how they created the actual text from a wordle to be randomly appear using the oppacity animator.

That’s seems to be the best way to make it in photoshop and it looks like some techniques between two blend modes where used between the words luma matting the original image and the background.

Same issues here. Started having the issues with one of AE’s updates. QuickTime is up to date. I will try to completely reinstall AE.

Did you use layer compositions of the same picture and did you generate the worldle and import it from a pdf?

That looks very similar! The only difference is of course styling with adjustment layers but that is the general idea.
