Hi,

I do not have a RAID system just using external HDD’s. I will be looking to have a 4k copy available as it will be submitted to festivals (DCP) also a copy online 4k & 2k. Thanks

Thanks for your feedback guys, I really love the look and feel of these jump cuts when used correctly. From what you’re saying it’s safe to say it’s a single camera setup with a few different takes along with physical (diff lenses) and digital re positioning of the frame in post?

Todd are you saying this was achieved with 1 camera set up ? Say 4k or an Alexia on a wide then using the m/s c/u’s by cropping in? What I was trying to say is that the jump cuts are paced so well they don’t distract the viewer at all.

I really love this technique of jumping around the frame, one he uses a lot. I would love to able able to achieve this look on a budget without filming on 4K or an Alexia. I shoot on a 5D with with RAW ML.

the log and transfer must have been set to prores 4444 when it was done. Where exactly do I change the settings so that I don’t need to render anymore, thanks

I didn’t set it to 4444, thats what happened after I went through the plugin, I’m asking why it won’t change when I drag and drop??

Thats what I thought? but its not asking me to accept FCP clip properties when I drag and drop??

It was due to the old version of mpeg streamclip we used to convert, the newer version has resolved the issue,

Hi,

I’ve shot the video on my 5d Mark II, in 24fps, and saved it all on my HDD, as I speak I’m converting the files into Prores 422 in MPEG Streamclip. I’m looking for the best sequence custom settings to edit these files in FCP 7,

Thanks for the quick reply, so if Im planning on adding any keyframe/ motion on the jpeg I need to import the original file at 3840 x 2160 form PS/ Aperture?
