If you are a Shake user you will love Conduit. It helps a lot to have some understanding of how compositing works and what’s going on when you “pull a key”. Steve Wright’s books on Digital Compositing would help anyone who is interested in understanding how to use this effectively. They are a MUST read.

Hi Alan.
Please give it a go. I would suggest you do a couple of “one offs’ to see how the response is. Main probs for podcasts are sound quality and an interesting presentation style. By this I mean, there are certain ways of speaking clearly that sound better on a purely audio medium eg. radio announcer voice/ hyped up happy voice ect. I’m sure you know all this. Maybe get a couple of people eg. (Elvis and Aharon) to help. Trawl for questions and answer a bunch of them in one hit.
5 to 10 mins should come in under 5 or 6 MB.
I for one would subscribe.
Also, IPTV will be huge in the next few years and sound and video will be able to be streamed live as in broadcast.
It’s all coming so why not have all the kinks worked out and be ready. Podcasting is a pre-cursor.
