Conduit, check it out
Posted by Chris Poisson on November 28, 2006 at 1:37 pmThis was announced today or prety recently, I’ve only had a few moments to look it over, but there’s a boatload of movie tuts on it and it looks impressive. Nodal compositing inside FCP and Motion!

November 28, 2006 at 6:08 pmpretty useful I’d think. Too bad I really just hated Motion since day one…. think it was too much of that “Apple” looking interface.

November 28, 2006 at 6:09 pmIf you are a Shake user you will love Conduit. It helps a lot to have some understanding of how compositing works and what’s going on when you “pull a key”. Steve Wright’s books on Digital Compositing would help anyone who is interested in understanding how to use this effectively. They are a MUST read.

Tell me, did you get to the Alex talk? Can you give me the top points you think about it? I judge from the Web site that keying with it is huge, but what other compositing chores can it do better, faster than FCP on it’s own?
