Hi Ricardo and Walter..

Have you guys found any solution to this problem? I’m having the same trouble, and even though I change the reel name (which was done when logging the clips in “Log and transfer”) it still won’t recapture.

the only thing that happens is the “log and transfer” window pops up..

Camera: Sony Z7
FCP: 6.0.6 and the latest sony plug-in I could find.

I was looking at some BMD cards, but found the possibilities with the AJA Kona Io HD are more what we’re after.

It’s great to get some experiences with the Kona’s as well.

It seems my first thoughts were everyones thoughts..

But one question.

On the Sony deck we have HDMI out.

BUT.. As our projects most of the time is still on DV-PAL, the Sony deck can’t send any signal to the LCD screen through HDMI unless it’s a HDV og HD project.

Does this make sense, or is there a menu option I’m missing?

And will we have the problem if we do get the AJA KONA Io HD?

Didn’t make myself perfectly clear in the previous post.

I was looking at the Io HD.

But does this require a card as well? I thought it was connected through FW?

Just use the text generator called “Lower 3rd”.

Choose “background” – Solid and choose you color and the opacity you want.
