I have this problem when the VITC and LTC do not match. I have had DF VITC and ND LTC and vice versa. When I switch the machine (digibeta mostly) over to LTC only problem goes away.

Colorama get’s me close. I choose my 3 colors on the wheel of one layer. Blur it slightly and then overlay or soft light blend on a clean or desaturated duplicate.

it has a nice color blending and clients oooh and ahhhh.
