    George,

This may be something that you can try to help. Without see some of the footage it will be hard to know if this is what you mean by “this has distorted the frame, which makes it unusable.” but hopefully it will help.

That is a hard question to answer. It will depend if it is good enough for Premiere to read the audio. What version of Premiere are you using? I think this was added in CS 6 so if it’s older than that it won’t work the way I have described.

I could be wrong but I don’t think you have to line them up unless you need that for a different reason. If you set it up like I mentioned above where you have all the clips selected, then right click and create the multi-cam sequence, the sequence will be set to the length of you camcorder that recorded continuously. Then each of the 12 minute clips will be put into the multi-cam sequence as they fall inline with the audio from the camcorder.

There are many ways to do this. If you are in Premiere CC you can select all your camera’s and then select to create a multi-cam sequence. Then you can select to use the audio. Since you did clap sync during the event this should do a pretty good job of lining the clips up. Also, you will then have the option to edit the event as a multi-cam event or you can open the sequence and work with the camera’s individually. Hope this helps

  • Hey I saw this earlier in the year and it is made by Konova since you are already using their slider that makes it even more attractive to me. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1151321-REG/konova_k_arm_tripod_stability_arm_for.html

You could also get a cheaper monopod with legs and use it to stabilize instead of coing to a full tripod. Something like this: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1083916-REG/benro_a38fd_monopod.html

    Hope those help.

I’ll definitely look into to some more color correction. I feel like the footage always falls apart on me. Your example looks pretty good so maybe I am doing something wrong. I’ll look more into that and see what I can come up with.

    Thanks

Hey, Thanks for the “harsh” criticism. That is why I posted it, I feel one of the ways we get better is to hear what others with experience see is “wrong” with it and try to incorporate that going forward.

I am not sure if I will get a chance to recut this anytime soon but I am going to try and do that with some of your suggestions. I do have some b-roll I’m not sure if it will be enough to do the edit your mentioning above but I may give it a try.

    Thanks again

I have not been notified that the update is there for me. But I sure hope that is what it is. I love the new color tools but it has been a horrible pain to use. Just finishing my last of several projects and considering going back to 2014 if this is not the fix for it all.

June 1, 2015 at 1:19 pm in reply to: What stutter type time based effect is this?

This looks like a stop motion. There are many ways to create this and numerous tutorials to show you how. As far as plug-in to create is goes, I am sure there may be one out there, but the cost may be high and the effectiveness of what you want may be hard to achieve with a plugin.

    Hope that Helps.

April 21, 2015 at 8:09 pm in reply to: Warp Stabilizer won’t analyze footage

First question is did you drag a new warp stabilizer effect onto the clip or did you drag it from the first clip?

Also have you applied any other effects to the other clips? Premiere will not let you do certain things in combination with warp stabilizer.
