    Althoght the file names from the camera where in sequence, I did a test and changed the filenames starting from 1 and now the sequence is complete..

    Mmmm. The sequence is 1080 , 25fps. The jpeg sequence imported is 25 fps also. Stillmissing 5 seconds…

    To keep going I just divided the file in four slices and put them together in AE, but I wonder why the problem.

    According to Photoshop its a 8 bit tif.

    Almost in the same sit! Working on an Imac and trying to get my boss to buy me a mac pro. i agree with Paul in all of it. If you can get your company to get you the SSD hard drive versuon. Also rememeber that if you use 3d elements in AE you will need the AMD graphic card.

    Usually that kind of problem is due the graphic card. If you are using the graphics directly from the mother board, I’m almost sure is the problem. You can buy one of the AVID certified cards of course, but there are also other cards that work just fine and for less money.
    I am using an ATI fire gl v3100 and it does the job, BUT it doesn’t mean it will work with any motherboard.
    Solution? Borrow a card from a friend and test it!

    Got it. he thing is when conected thru firewire I have to set the AV in the deck as “off”, allas, it only works as digital in. Why? No idea.

    Hi Jon.
    The broght the video in via the same DV player. Is DV , and yes, it’s connected via firewire. I don’t think I need any converting box, it’s digital to digital, isn’t it?
    I looked at the time line and the “little buton” is green. I was redaing about this togle real time on off and I don’t really get it. Is green for real time efcts on, right? Do I have to have it off (blue) to export via firewire?
