    Hi Dale,

Im in a situation similar as yours, I have 2 Sony FS7s, though.
What has been working for me, even though Plural Eyes keeps crashing on me, so have been saving every 30 seconds…hahaha
I created a basic timeline in premiere with my 2 FS7 cameras, plus 8 tracks of audio, I just laid them on the timeline, stacked them on separate audio tracks obviously and then exported the prproj from premiere and opened it in PE, everything is there and off to synching!!!!……. Let me know if it worked for you.

    Good Luck,
    Cris

November 26, 2014 at 1:02 am in reply to: Color Picker on Premiere CC not working

Hi, Im having that issue, too.
Macbook Pro i7 , Mountain Lion with a Cinema Display thru thunderbolt.
Every time I try to pick a color, the picker disappears and turns back into the arrow. Only happens on my secondary monitor, if I drag the pick whip to the MBP screen it stays and lets me do the color correction.
It’s pretty annoying since I use my MBP screen only with the timeline and the other monitor with the rest (Project files, source monitor, effects, effects control and program monitor).

    Thanks 🙂

    Hi Juan,

So, would it be easier if I exported the XML at 100% speed from PPro to fcp and then on fcp do the slomo?, then export another xml and open on resolve?

    Thanks!

    David!
Man I’m on that same page, Canon 5D footage, updated the CUDA driver, just bought CC last week, coming from cs6, thinking this new one was going to solve all my problems…. Same crappy thing, still choppy, don’t know when it’s going to happen again and can’t work with a client or my partner by my side, because it looks un professional.
Actually had to export an XML and continued on fcp7. And Im completely astonished how fcp has performed without any video problems, just some clipping on the audio, but no lagging on video, even with all the FX added.
What shall I do????….. HELP guys!

    Thanks

    MacbookPro i7, 2.8Ghz
    Mountain Lion 10.8.5
    8Gb RAM
    External firewire HDD 7200RPM

  • GENIUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Took me less than 5 secs to do this, instead of frying my brain and wasting more time.

    THOMAS YOU FRIGGING ROCK!
    Thanks

Something similar happened to me yesterday, but I wasn’t on the rMBP, just a regular MacPro tower. And happened when I tried changing the resolution of the screen whilst FCP was opened.
    Coincidence? Bad Luck?

May 6, 2011 at 6:36 pm in reply to: Very strange motion lines, look!

Hi guys, I’ve been having the same issues with a canon vixia, when i started using it last year, everything was normal, i could log and transfer from FCP, now i can’t so i had to get Voltaic for encoding the MTS to AppleProRes, but then i started having the same lines you’re are showing, don’t know what i’ve done wrong, if it’s the camera or something on the workflow i’m missing.

Can anybody tell me what’s going on with fcp 7.0.3, and do u know if fcpx will accept all the codec without rendering????

BTW finally i get rid of those lines using the de-interlace filter on (Flicker filter minimal or medium) and runs great and also using Smooth cam is a great solution when u have shaky image and the lines.

    THX!
