I’m using 6.5 which isn’t on my personal mac, but is at a lab at my school. I’ll have it in about a week after I put more memory in my computer. It is still going to be 6.5 though. While I have you let me ask you a general question if you don’t mind. The computer I currently have is the new iMAC G5 with Tiger, Front Row, Camera, all that. It has 512 MB in it now. If I want my computer to be able to run (at different times of course) Photoshop, Illustrator, AE, FCP, Quark, Dreamweaver, InDesign is another 512 MB of ram enough to hold and run all of those programs? I will also be getting an external hard drive so I’ll really be looking at 2 G of ram: 1 G to run programs 1 G to store my work. What do you think?

After I sent this post I was wondering about render time as well. I thought it might be a good idea to size them down a little bit before bringing them into AE. Thanks for your time, I really appreciate your brain in this matter.
