I don’t think Quicktime will record System Sound/Computer Audio when screen recording.

Telestream ScreenFlow.
Set Zoom Speaker to Telestream Audio Capture and it’ll capture the Zoom call audio directly.
If you want the local host mic included add that as the Record Audio From source in ScreenFlow.
You can export the recording as ProRes if you want to do further editing in FCP.

DV would be through a series of adaptors.
MiniDV to Firewire 400 to Firewire 800, DV800 to Thunderbolt2, Thunderbolt 2 to Thunderbolt 3.

Sorry but your comment doesn’t make sense. Episode and Wirecast are entirely unrelated products. Wirecast is a live software switcher for live streaming and recording.
Episode is no longer supported and may not work with recent OS updates.
You might want to look at Telestream’s Cloud Encoding services.

Perhaps try Sony Catalyst Browse and eliminate FCP from the equation.
You need to check the imported files.
The problem is it’s hard to troubleshoot an issue with only an aesthetic complaint.

Maybe Canon EOS M100
Recently discontinued by it’s an OK entry-level camera. If it works with Canon virtual webcam software you should be able to use it with free streaming software like OBS.

Intensity Shuttle is discontinued and is Thunderbolt 2.
The current BMD driver version 12 still lists The Intensity Shuttle Thunderbolt as supported for Intel Macs. It may not work with TB2 to TB3 adaptor needed for newer Macs due to bus power. So it might be limited to Macs with older TB2 ports.

This Magewell USB Capture AIO looks promising. Having tried it but it can handle S Video, component, composite.
