Anyone know how to export component video, composite video and DV all with one device into Final Cut. I have a newer iMac and so I’d love a thunderbolt 3 connector into my computer. Its a little confusing out there. Thank you for your input.

Don’t think you’ll find one with DV as well as the others but for component and composite there’s this.

DV would be through a series of adaptors.

MiniDV to Firewire 400 to Firewire 800, DV800 to Thunderbolt2, Thunderbolt 2 to Thunderbolt 3.

So glad I still have a Sony DVCAM as well as an XDCAM recorder.

I actually had to dig up a BetaSP deck and go through that hellish chain 😛

Its much more robust than trying to get the BetaSP deck to talk to our Avid Artis IO 😛

Why not get an old mac mini (late 2012) with Firewire instead? 😌
