Walter, thank you for your input. I did after the fact find that FCP would not be suitable for this situation. I wish I would have been able to provide more details as to what the needs would be, but I gave everything I could. The company CEO doesnt seem to know what they want….

I do have card back ups and back ups of the project files. Im not as concerned about those files. It comes down to what I should do with the footage after it as been ingested, cut and exported. Its it worth keeping the .mov files or should I just down size them to 1280×720 or trash them altogether? This is all for the sake of saving space. If I had it my way I would just have another set of drives, but the chances of that are slim.
