Having looked though many of the pre animated templates, replicators, particle emitters, I noticed many of them use generators for the solids rather than the shape tool. Can anyone tell me why this is. Is there benefit of using one over the other?

    Thanks

Color solids are typically more processor intensive than the generator solid. A color still (png or jpg) is the least processor intensive, but of course you can’t change the color easily.

I actually assumed the opposite. Good to know for the future. Andy, thank you for the info.
