    Hi Ashley,

Nesting can be performed with video-only selections or video-and-audio selections, not audio-only selections. You could work around this by putting a video clip above the audio clips and disabling it (right click > Enable) and then create your nest. Note that you’ll have a video component of the nest that appears in your nesting sequence.

That’s a clip marker. If you don’t need it, you can click on it to select it in the Source Monitor, then go to Marker > Clear Selected Marker (or use the appropriate keyboard shortcut).

Alternatively, you can hide the appearance of clip markers. In the Source Monitor, click the wrench menu and disable “Show Markers.” In the Timeline panel, click the wrench menu and disable “Show Clip Markers.”

  • Hi Didier,

Can you provide some information on your system hardware, OS version, and what peripherals you may be using? From the earlier posts, there were several mentions of Wacom devices, so I’m wondering if that is the common element. If you are using a Wacom device check the version of your drivers and see if there is an updated version available; a few issues were addressed in recent drivers particularly with Mac OS X.

Also, does this happen all the time, or just at random times?

    Thank you.
