I am trying to nest two tracks of audio in premiere, but when I right click on the tracks to apply the effect, it’s gray.

I’ve tried linking/unlinking the audio tracks and rendering and I can’t seem to figure it out.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you.

    Hi Ashley,

Nesting can be performed with video-only selections or video-and-audio selections, not audio-only selections. You could work around this by putting a video clip above the audio clips and disabling it (right click > Enable) and then create your nest. Note that you’ll have a video component of the nest that appears in your nesting sequence.

Thank you. That seemed to work.

    Hi Ashley,
Just curious, what is your intention in nesting audio tracks?
Are you nesting sequential tracks or simultaneous tracks?
I’m trying to edit true stereo tracks that were imported as dual mono and wonder if this could help.
    Thanks,
    Robert
