    Never mind. I figured out how to select Image Size and resized the image to export as a larger image than it was.

    Thats a good idea to just stock up on a bunch of cards. I just have to figure out about how many I would need for a 4 hour show! LOL! I plan to stop recording when each group leaves the stage to save a few minutes of card time.

    Very true Shane but I am new to the iPhone and this is the first time I am playing around with video and getting it in FCP. I have a complete workflow I use for when I shoot with HDSLR’s. Importing my iPhone video to iPhoto or Aperture is what is throwing me off. I guess I can locate the video on my Hard drive then go about it the same way as if I shot something with my Nikon and convert the clips over to Apple Pro Res.

    I always use MPEG Stream Clip to convert my files. Mpeg Streamclip is a FREE download. You select Batch List from the top menu. Locate your SD card reader and select all your video files. Then choose a Destination folder on your hard drive where you want the converted files to go. When the next screen pops up, Select Apple ProRes in the Compression settings drop down menu and then slide your quality setting all the way over to 100%. Choose the resolution you want and uncheck Interlace Scaling, then click To Batch. Once its completed, imported that entire folder into FCP and then you will be able to edit the footage.

    Watch this youtube video to see exactly what I just explained if your still confused. Even though the title states a Canon camera, the workflow still applies for any DSLR camera.

    I just found the problem! I have a 4 TB Caldigit Raid on my desk that is the closes to my right monitor speaker. When I unplugged the AC from the Hard drive all buzz, noise, and static went away. I plugged it back in and it all came back. So there must be some sort of interference with that particular hard drive or perhaps I have it to close to that monitor. I will do some more tests but I think as of right now that has solved my issue. The cable I am using has two 1/4″ plugs on one end and a 3.5mm plug on the other end. As for the brand of cable I am not sure. It was something one of the guys at Guitar Center recommended that I get.

    I am currently having a very similar problem with my Macbook Pro and Behringer Truth Monitors..See my thread I posted yesterday. I am still troubleshooting the problem and have not narrowed it down yet. I am wondering if there could be an issue with using Apple computers but then again I know plenty of DJ’s that use Apple computers while Djing and their music sounds clean with no static or other noise so I am not exactly sure what it is going on. I was hoping you found a solution since our issues are similar! LOL!

    If your going to look at the AF100 you may as well look at Sony’s new FS100 which is said to have the same image quality of their higher end F3 camera.

    I can shoot up to 20 minutes with my Nikon D7000 which makes it perfect for shooting Music videos or projects where you will be starting and stopping a lot. As for the audio I run a dual audio system via a Zoom H4N. I run wireless audio to the Zoom then sync it up with the video using Pluraleyes in Final Cut Pro.

    Are you the same Noah that used to be on the DVXuser boards? I think I will have to look into the Mackie board it sounds! Thanks for the suggestion!!
