close to speed racer settings:

1. distort->optics compensation-FOV-reverse lens, distortion,optimize pixels,

2. or warp-fish eye,inflate,(fish eye is like wide angle lens)

3. cc-cylinder is weird, animate cylinder spinning footage with camera inside.

4. try squeeze vertical, bend 55, horiz dist 100. It’s freakin kewl. Your image turns into warp drive.

use mokey to remove it automatically or rotorscope clone brush.

That is pretty easy on to fix. It was driving me NUTS also.

Step1: Locate the text file Adobe After Effects 8.0 Shortcuts.txt

On Windows XP you can find it in the folder
C:Documents and SettingsXXXXXXXApplication DataAdobeAfter Effects8.0
Replace XXXXXXX with your current username, for example “jessica”.

# On Mac OS X you will find the text file in
User/Library/Preferences/Adobe/AfterEffects/8.0/

# Step 2: Create a backup copy of the file, just to be on the safe side…

# Step3: Find “(Cmd+G) and delete that line

# Step4: Find “(Option-shift-J)” and change that line to read

“Group” = “(Option+Shift+J)”

# Step5: Add this line

“GoToTime” = “(Cmd+G)”

I simply switched what the shortcut was for each action.

burn CD-R to iso 9660 and both pc and mac can read disk and run AE files.

well png is huge and most hard drive can’t play full motion sequences smoothly. You need to compress it to a playable codec. I suggest h.264 or jpeg2000 or animation.

1. apply a reverse telecine to all the clips manually because it will have to be applied on each individual clip instead of in a batch if you didn’t black stripe your timecode to tape first.

2. wrong pulldown in interpret, you did 24p not 24pa advanced in camera record mode and have cadence backwards 2:3:2:3 or 2:3:3:2

3. your computer is on fire and melting.

just a friendly reminder…

When you plan a transfer to film or HD, DO NOT use 24P, use the 24PA. regular p is dumb and used for traditional video fakery look. eww.
