although there is like a hundred ways to do this, just push the end keyframe of the animated light movement closer to the start keyframe. That will force them to change a large path over less time, hence a speed increase.

render settings have a stretch to new framesize, it has to match output module. It’s dumb, I know…

    1. precompose parts you don’t want adjustment matte to affect and layer them above others.

    2. precompose a particular track and its object and in a new comp go to channel-> Remove Color Matting, that will fix the track matte halo.

its true that most people won’t ever see a 24 to 25 frame jerk difference, but the twixtoring will help keep smoothness. The standard drag and drop setting will keep the same timecode, but will, in fact, change the temporal visual quality of the medium. Try dropping a 29.97 ntsc into a 20fps, it won’t interpolate smoothness at all. That’s why new sub frames are nice.

one of those with a pinch of organic->ocean tide.ffx perhaps. wind current.ffx is soothing.

high dynamic range lighting is calculations that your eyes don’t see directly until after complex refraction and reflection and absorption of objects. 32 bit makes this possible. It’s floating point accurate. Don’t go 8 bit with metallic objects.

fiddle with the transfer modes, go 32 bit linear for HDR light, It will look 100x more real., watch a reflection and specular tutorial, enhance texture with boosts of gold texturizing. and export straight alpha, or you’ll have nasty halo problems. Use hefty ammounts of time remapping and easy ease F9 to remove jerky animation.

“Remove your crew completely if you want.”

    1. whole wall or just a small section, if small section, feather mask it in then box blur. It’s what you want, but it’s not a one click solution.

    2. Or just try some effects that don’t just do regular blur. there’s one called a box blur, said above, which will give great results. Try using it with effect->levels to reduce the black crew, then the box blur will even out nicely(put levels above blur in controls) .

aren’t there text animation presets, like 3,000 of them, I’ve seen lots of good ones for wavy, or just use effect->distort->wave warp and reduce opacity.
