wouldn’t it be easier to have AE cut them up for you? This free plugin finds the cuts of different shots and can either create markers or make individual layered layers automatically on the timeline. I was skeptical at first, but so far, it hasn’t missed a single cut.

DPX are just a file format for cineon files. Here’s how to use them in AE. If you do it right, its perfect.

I have tried many and the one I like best is Primatte from Red Giant Software. You can rub mint flavored toothpaste on a spackled wall with one light and key perfectly. THAT’s how good it is, lol.

Try rendering out the keyed stuff separately then importing it post-keyed. Now transform it. Or maybe a Pre-comp would fix it. Precomps fix lots of stuff.

sounds like motion blur enabled. switch it off in render output settings.

I tested this method but the color source does not dynamically update. You still have to go to each twixtor layer that you pasted and change its color source of video1 to its corresponding
layer. example 75. video1.aviI noticed that twixtor, when dragged onto a layer from effects controls, it automatically assigns the correct color source. Perhaps I am missing something in the batch process of pasting.
To workaround, I have decided it is easier to twixtor all the pre-edited video into large groups. This fixes 3 things.
1. Twixtor glooping from hard cuts. I now can just use excess video handles and edit them off.
2. Dynamic link doesn’t support titles anyway.
3. Special Effects don’t need rotoscoping anymore.
