  • Display timeline images like FCP a la filmstrip like?

    Hi

I find myself constantly having to break um image sequences in After Effects. Right now its because AE wont render RED footage based Premier sequences that I bring in. I have to use dynamic link and then convert that track to an image sequence and then re-import it and cut it up.

The process of cutting up the track into shots is very tedious because it takes along time to find each cut.

Is there a way to display every frame in the timeline so that one could see where the cuts were in the timeline- kinda like in FCP?

    Thanks in advance

    Van

wouldn’t it be easier to have AE cut them up for you? This free plugin finds the cuts of different shots and can either create markers or make individual layered layers automatically on the timeline. I was skeptical at first, but so far, it hasn’t missed a single cut.
