sounds like you’ll have some creative fun on this project. Here’s a few ingredients I got off the top of my head.
change the framerate, change the playback speed, add glows to the highlights, slower shutter for heavier blurs, mix previous frames together, rotate colors, new stylistic camera angles/editing, change focal length, new gels,

the expensive ones you can rotate to vary the intensity to the point that glass becomes invisible, although they often bring back some reflections so it doesn’t look too weird, like mime acting behind doors.

videocopilot.net always seems to eventually use most of the things you need to know for a beginner while not bogging you down in the mundane parts of over-explanation. he focuses on the end product, which in my opinion, is much more effective than spending 6 chapters on how to open a window.

adding a simple wiggle to the bezier warp points looks exactly like the jello effect.

most phones don’t go above 640×480 video resolution even though they say 1080p, nor over 30 fps, white balance goes all over the place, as does exposure. and there’s no image stabilizer. just my 2 cents.

is slowing down 4% to 23.976 and adding pulldown 3:2 cadence 29.97 ntsc an acceptable alternative? it would keep the film look while not adding too much judder or worrying about optical artifacts.

neat video supports low,medium, and high frequency adaptive blurring.

the rgb will change by 1 if you use adobe’s eyedropper for lzw. it rounds off numbers in the “lossless” math.

trillions of colors is 16 bit/channel or
16×4=64bits in the tiff, and turn lzw off too, its lossy.
