they both support a hot shoe EVF, and a hot shoe Samsung EM10 mic which has a 3.5mm headphone monitor. The mic also has a built in electronic analog to digital converter and volume control.
Now if you wanted a boompole shotgun mic with an xlr cable, you’d need an external sound recorder, but if you were going for professional sound, you’d do this anyway. have you had any luck with audio good enough from in camera?

For one very important reason. For the same price as a Nikon 1v1,
you’ll get a vastly larger sensor size. This means that you won’t have to spend any money on a f/.95 lens to get extreme shallow depth of field, and that is the real secret to cinema.it also has a 20.3mp for photography. The camera also has 11 stops for latitude and the sky won’t blow out. You can get it for around $300. It’s actual value is more around $1500 but due to marketing newer products, its value has been reduced by more than 3x.

you might have some luck with ae’s warp stabilizer, if not, here’s some other options.
1. you can precomp it, add timewarp 50%, then timestretch the precomp 50%. This smooths out the bumps.
2. virtualdub’s deshaker is free and in 2 clicks you have perfect pans, tilts, rotations, zooms. It will do bicubic resampling and edge zoom compensations. Also supports widescreen and hdv.
Stabilizes horizontal/vertical panning, rotation and zooming.

sometimes it takes layering of linear key to get what you want. chroma/hue/rgb used together.
i made a project a while back that fixes 8bit banding or if you’re just trying to key white out, which isn’t as easy as you’d think because white is never pure white.

just make sure that the arrow’s anchor point is centered.
this will do 2 things. the small block will always points to the big block’s puppet 1 position independent on its distance and the big block can move any position and only effect the small block’s rotation.

this plugin for fcp doesn’t work with red bricks very well
https://philipbloom.net/2011/02/17/moire/the best way is to download a demo of After Effects or try to get FCP to use a tracked mask, median filter set as a color transfer. It blurs only the color channel.
you can also try some sort of channel mixer, channel blur and use an optical shutter blur on the strobing.
and finally some sort of saturation boost to recover the desaturated chroma blur. -
there might be a plugin out there that removes strobing and moire in one go. I don’t know. Hopefully someone else can chime in.
In the past, I made a pretty good strobe and moire reducer AE project.
It does it in 4 parts. The only thing is, there’s no auto mask. How you track the bad part is up to you.
