the usb disk has to be fast enough for your selected bitrate. it’s a catch 22 so be careful.

for the edges, i doubt any of the plugins compare adjacent frames which means that you would need to blur edges with find edges effect alpha matte or use timewarp’s shutter blur or reelsmart motion blur. I would also use Neatvideo for the actual noise.
for the jittery, if increasing the framerate before adding the effect doesn’t work, consider frame averaging after the effect. an example would be timestretch the layer 50%, then add timewarp 50%. This will create a net effect of some newly created optical flow frames to be discarded.
it smooths camera movement so might smooth stutter. -
if the sky and dress have exact luma and chroma, then not even a key will work.

if you put a 25p into 50i Ae timeline, you’ll get duplicate frames to fill up the missing spots unless you turn on frame or pixel blending for that layer.
there’s also a way to turn 25p into 50i either with fieldskit re-interlacer or AE’s optical flow rendered out and given fake fields. it’s pretty crazy but it works.

probably use that precomp you made as alpha matte maybe. or put keyed stuff as transfer layer color. hard to say without playing with it.
that being said, I personally don’t see how this whole technique would work as anything red in the shot would be keyed out, right?
you would only have green channel for luma? how could you key well off only one luma channel?
wouldn’t it be faster to have a second key for trackers? than masking, recoloring etc? -
does it fail on 60p footage or just 24fps? that would answer your question.
