    hello

I’m Trying to replace sky with some clouds, but bride is in the scene, and i tried every way to do it,but unsuccessful,
    there is a question,

how can i replace sky with a huge white subject in the shot?

sky is white and bride dress is also white.and when i put cloud footage it covers sky and bride dress.

if the sky and dress have exact luma and chroma, then not even a key will work.

i made a template that will procedurally key stuff.

if it fails, i recommend looking up rotobrush for AE

    hi guys,
this is what i mean, the bride in a super bright background,
by the way tanx Chris im reading that article you send.but i have a big problem with luma and chroma.
there should be a way to isolate back Scene and for Scene.

I don’t even think the rotobrush will help you here. The veil on her head and sky are blown out. Not sure if you tried color correcting to see if you could get any additional info back, but I think it is probably too over exposed. You could try to manually rotoscope, but the computer can’t differentiate the veil and sky and I’d be surprised if you could while going frame by frame.

There’s no way to isolate the foreground and background when both are essentially pure white.

yes all of you are true its not possible but its pretty hard to done,
unfortunately my friend who toke this shots he forgot to install ND filter and all plans are overexposure
and its not just this one i have more than 40 pictures all of them are like this.i color correct all of them but its impossible to put clouds.
and the bride and sky luma are the same.i was looking for a way maybe i can do something for this Scene,
    nevermine tnx again.

Is that the original quality of the footage? Because if so, yes, it doesn’t look like there’s any information for the veil using CC.

With Mocha and a bit of time you can get some result though. Gave it a quick try:
