Yes I see snow. Could this be a setting on the camera? Something that perhaps I set to the wrong encoding setting?

No, which leads to the issue of FCP 6.0.4 not being able to take in the P2 files. It’s an absolute cluster….

Im seeing it in my thumbnails as a very snowy frame of what I recorded (there is no motion) and it is colored snow. Then when I playback, it is exactly that, a snowy frame of the image. There is sound which is perfectly audible.

Ok I was looking at the DVCPRO HD setting, ie: 720, 1080. Thanks for the prores tip as well.

This is for broadcast television. Let me give an example: At the end of a program, when the credits roll, there is often a squeezed image of either a promo or a commercial that fits to the right of the credits. The coordinates I gave in the previous post are the networks required coordinates. If I export my project to after effects, what would be the work flow that I would need to follow? Thanks.
