I am outputting a squeezed version of my project and need to change the image size to a squeezed 57% on the right side of the screen. So in Avid language, i need to change the image to fit these coordinates.

    3D Warp:

    Scaling
    X 57
    Y 100

    Position:
    X 215

3D Warp is an Avid effect tool. Can someone tell me what effect tool FCP uses for the squeezes? Thank you!

FCP does not have a warping tool. You may be able to find one for FCP if you search at toolfarm.com, or you can export your complete movie & import it into AE or Shake & use that for warping.

I’m not entirely sure what you are trying to do…but you might want to try the Distort Tool (D) – with this you can select the individual corners of a shot and reposition them to give you a pseudo 3dwarp.

This is for broadcast television. Let me give an example: At the end of a program, when the credits roll, there is often a squeezed image of either a promo or a commercial that fits to the right of the credits. The coordinates I gave in the previous post are the networks required coordinates. If I export my project to after effects, what would be the work flow that I would need to follow? Thanks.
