Maybe you should try a format HD and re-install all?
Maybe you have a conflict somewhere…

This has come up so much. Adobe does not work like apple. There is no more QUICK export.

You do not have to render to export either.

To save time I would,

Use the quick and easy mpeg preview files that APP defaults to when creating a sequence.

When done, Export to a Master File, don’t bother with the preview clips.

I think you misunderstand, Minimize or Hide AE app, go to web or email or word or photoshop, while AE is rendering, you don’t serve the net or check email while rendering?

DVD – Don’t think so.

You need to check with who is broadcasting and ask of their specs and requirements.

You most likely can deliver a HD file.
This is much preferred over renting a HD deck and creating a Tape Master for delivery.

But you gotta find out the specs required.

Do you have P2 Drives installed on comp.?

While you’re at it, download the free software P2CMS from panny.

Use THAT software to off-load the card media to your comp FIRST.
This verifies as it copies.

THEN, L&T into edit.

Also, try USB instead of FW from cam.
