This has been my understanding as well. You can have a UFF SD DVD in NTSC land.

Also, you can try to Launch AME and import the sequence in that way. Thus not having to open APP at all.

Mac or Win?
If mac, Trash prefs, reboot, repair permissions.

This happens here now and again, it’s unstable software sometimes, on mac anyways.
Have you tried a “Save As” ? with your project. Usually works here.

Are you making a PAL or NTSC DVD?

For the last few years, when I needed to make a SD NTSC DVD from HD NTSC material (Upper Fields) I would create a UFF m2v.
It looks correct when played back off the DVD feeding a TV.Chris Tompkins
