    That’s a odd size:

Your compressor should be Apple Prores HQ on the sequence.

Your clips should be converted to prores BEFORE you import into FCP. H.264 is NOT an editing codec.

    Your settings man.
    “CMD” 0 on your sequence.
    Codec?
    Format/codec of clips?

If you were considering P2 I would recommend the HPX170/250 by Panasonic.
If P2 is to rich then look into the Panasonic HMC series.
    Shoots to SD cards.

The right way to to manually white balance for each settings.

    Now, your a noob. SO,

Use auto or the Outdoor preset for outdoors.
    Indoor preset for indoors.
Manual set for under the flows.

Do you have a TON of stills in your sequence?
You can increase the still cashe.

Can you move the files local? Off the server?

    Well First off:

The video is 1940X1080 I hope you meant 1920.

If you play a Self Contained HD file 48m in length off the desktop,…you could have sync issues just from a threw-put drive speed issue.

Export Current Settings. Make sure there are no in/out markers on the sequence.
    Drop that file into compressor.
Create the DVD mpeg and ac3 file.
    Bring them into DVDSP.
    They should match.

  • It does not cross-convert.
You’ll set the card playback to match the footage.
    All 720p is 720/59.94/60

23.98 or 30 or 60p footage will play out fine choosing those settings.
