This has been covered a lot here.

I have used FCP for 8 years.
Bought the Adobe Prod. bundle.

Easy to adapt. Somethings are better with APP and some are not.
Adobe is listening and it will get better.

You’ll be up and running with adobe Premier quick and easy enough.

Which camera?
It’s the 4 GB limit that creates multi-clips.

However, cameras like the HPX370 have the option to “1 clip record” and it stitches it all together.

ya, it’s baked into the footage, not a lot you can do after the fact.
You can mask the problem area and only blur (slightly) that.

But the best is to avoid the situation that causes it while shooting.

Honestly Don, you’d be much better off getting a I/O card from AJA or BMD and feeding the HD monitor a proper video (not Computer) signal.

Don’t upgrade if you don’t have to. Stay put when it works.

I am new to APP as well. Coming from FCP.
In the browser, select the audio, “Control” click on the tracks and choose modify, choose mono.
You have to do this b/4 they are in a sequence.
