Steve’s right.

Also, 2GB for your final mpeg file size is small. Over compressed.
You should aim for around 4GB for the Mpeg Video track.
This will maximize your data rate for quality.

Also, did you turn on frame controls in compressor?

Are you going h.264 .mp4 or .mov?
At what data rate are you encoding?
Have you tried upping it?

Since you’ll probably be fighting a render with the un-matched footage, you should go with what the most footage is.

Needle drop fees for music tracks command a good price for broadcast.
Your best bet would be music buy out. You can buy a CD for $60. and use it all you want.

From the media browser in APP you can double click one of those P2 files and it will open it up and you can then mark in and out points and drag it into your proj.

You need to record a screen resolution that matches what you’re editing.
1280×720 for example. Or get it as close as possible.
Change the screen res. on the comp. and in the Camtasia recording settings.

You can still record the screen on the win machine.
Export that avi uncompressed.

Get the Camtasia codec on the mac to open it up in QT7 and export a mov file. FYI
