Thats the thing though When i bring the footage into AE i just make a new comp with it and it automatically isnt interlaced anymore. The interpolation is set to non on the footage also…idk how to fix it

hey thanks for all the responses. I don’t have the footage in front of me right this sec( i will in a few hours) I know you said that I don’t want to key out when I have Interlaced footage but if de-interlace the footage is it still going to be a horrible mess?

Well right now i am working with a pretty fast raid i believe its Fibre Channel.Forgive me if i should like Im lost about this sometimes, I am still learning.

One last thing… What kind of system would you htink would be able to handle AJA Uncompressed 8 bit 720p59.94

okay i will have to give that a try in a sec (im rendering something right now) Thats another question I actually had though. Since Im working with 30fps (since i’m working with animation) The output in FCP canvas always looks like crap (because it is trying to display it like its 59.97. No it looks fine on the Tv but if I want it to look fine in FCP i have to set it to “none” which then doesnt let it play back on the tv ha. Have you ever had this problem?
