Best I can tell it is a bug, changing the Overlap can help, but best bet is to go to Soundtrack Pro.

I am having the same problem and also need a solution. I have too many clips with too many pitch changes to send them all out to Soundtrack Pro. My audio also has a speed adjustment.

Is the Apple AUPitch the only pitch filter for FCP?

Shane, thanks so much for your prompt post!

Our Cannon XHG1 actually does have the timecode BNC out (HD/SDI, Gen Lock, and Timecode BNCs) and with our Kona LHe card I can actually SEE the real time timecode via the HD/SDI, but only in the AJA Control Panel window. We do know that the I/O HD can capture timecode, and that may need to be a final solution, but since I can see the TC in the AJA window I’m in denial that there isn’t SOME WAY for FCP to see and use it as well.

I’m trying to determine if there are any device control presets I could download and install or any workflows that could use the technology I already have. I don’t control the purse strings so I have to make sure we’ve exhausted every option before I make a pitch for the I/O HD!
