I have a tricky question:
How many iMovie gigs one has to score in order to match a single Avid one?

But what happens when the auto-analysis fails? They have to work around it and do it themselves. That’s where the knowledgeable editor is necessary, in order to accomplish the task by using his/her baggage.

What I don’t enjoy are the negative ping-pong matches that do nothing to educate or inspire other participants.”Although this is a valid point in general, I would argue that those ping-pongs are essential in a debating forum, like this one for that matter. It constitutes the essence of the whole thing, hence the existence of a techniques forum as opposed to this one.

I can see your line of reasoning, but if their hardware is already successful, why give software away for free?
And maybe some basic functionality could be introduced to the “Mic App” and “Camera App” that would replace the need for those free “first tiers”? Addicionally, wouldn’t be smart to merge not only the products, but also their development and support? I think this is the way they’re going. IMHO. -
Good article. I think the point the guy is making is that Apple may continue to further consolidate their products. So, perhaps Aperture will merge with Iphoto. Accordingly, Logic may merge with Garageband and FCPX would merge with iMovie. All for the sake of their success with smart devices and also their Appstore business model.

I was talking about Logic and inferred that was a feature somewhat different.
BTW, I don’t own FCPX but I had worked on it, is that allowed here?
Gregor has confirmed that there’s no such a feature in Logic. Yet.
Would that make it from FCPX? Can we even discuss it?
