Success! I’m now able to render out an AVI thanks to adding 3 fans to my case. One problem remains.
Why does AME take an hour to load my project? Why is the application hanging so long???

I have been busy trying to resolve my temperature issues today. I have replaced an old dead fan, and added 2 more to the computer case.
I’ve been using Everest to monitor my CPU temperature and it has gone from 75 degrees Celsius to a peak of 37! Great.
I still have one issue…Adobe Media Encoder is still loading my project. The window says not responding, but after about an hour it finally renders. Why is this happening? The process in task manager is constantly changing though AME says its not responding. Is there anything I can do to make this better?

So you’re saying from “Sequence” I can render out the project to AVI without using AME? Where is the AVI after doing this?

  • Don’t do it. There’s no point. The DVD players or Ps3’s out there have superior upscaling than what Premiere can do. Just make it a 720×480 file and let the machines they’re playing on do the work.

Thanks Eddie, but my project is already chopped up! To break a Stereo track into mono requires that the source file first be broken down. Unfortunately, I’ve spent the past few months editing and don’t really want to go back on that.
I think by exporting the audio to a mono file then applying that instead of the source stereo will work out for me!

Wouldn’t it be easier to just “Export Audio” (making sure its mono and that all other audio tracks are off). Then importing that Wav? Thats what I’ve tried and it seems to work!

I am talking about a Stereo Project. I understand that I can’t have a centered audio if it isn’t a 5.1 project, but is there a way to mimic what a directional shotgun mic would produce with premiere?

I’ve run into that problem too. I’ve noticed that if I have programs like “Utorrent” running, it really doesn’t agree with Premiere. Try eliminating as many non vital programs in your system tray and see what that does!
