The Decklink Extreme takes two slots if you use the HDMI component, kinda retarded. To the point though, I liked my Decklink card just fine but I like my Kona LH way more. There tech support is superb.

Well, a little Googling found at least one answer, MpegStreamClip handles the files pretty well.

    Have a wonderful day.

My DVX 100 does this under flourescents, it’s a pain in the ass, and unfortunately in many situations like classrooms I cant get enough time or it’s too disturbing to light it properly. Really sucks.

On a school job last year I sold the client on going with a highly desaturated look, because it was next to impossible to keyframe the color corrector to fix it.

We ran Disk Warrior on the drives and used Drive Genius to defrag the Mac’s hard drive, seems to be like new again.

    So thanks!

Radeon X 1900 XT, should I check on it’s drivers?

    Have a wonderful day.

  • DVmatte Pro rocks, as does DVmatte Blast. Also, great keyers in Boris Continuum Complete, and of course native in After Effects.

    Have a wonderful day.

    Jason,

I run ProRes 108030p on my MBP daily, it is beautiful for everything. I use a 2 drawer Firmtek enclosure with 1TB and it runs at about 140 mbs, works great. I highly recommend the Firmtek units, have one on my G5 too.

    Have a wonderful day.

This workflow could be problematic, for a number of reasons. You may have interlacing going on in your FFs, you may need to deinterlace them. Regarding length, you can set the still duration in user prefs and then make a new project, the length will apply. Generally, FCP sucks for this.

When I use stills for a slideshow, I normally use Fotomagico, which is designed for this. last week someone here was griping about spending many, many hours doing a slideshow in FCP, in Fotomagico you do them in minutes.

Unfortunately, I don’t think you can use your FFs in it, but if you could, you can highlight all the stills and change all their durations with one mouse click.

    Have a wonderful day.
