It’s working again! I think I had the wrong setting while blacking my tape, but it’s back to normal now, thanks everyone.

Tom,

I set my pre-roll to 7 seconds, positive I did it right and saved it, but the machine is still using 3 seconds. When I send the sequence to ETT the horizontal wavers all over the place, the picture will not lock up, and when it hits the in point the deck stops.

Need more detail to help you. What are you trying to sync? What does your Matrox box do?

turned that switch to on, but still no lock on ETT. I’m stumped.

Bummer is, I’m gonna have to make a dub tomorrow.

Somehow, I got color back on my monitor, but Edit to Tape still will not lock up when it hits the in point. I just turned my terminatinon swithch to on” so I will try it today and see what happens.

What’s a mystery to me is that until this weekend ETT was working fine.

Hey Bob,

In the first paragraph, I did answer you, turned off the BBG and put Kona in freerun, and it worked, except that horizontal hold is blown.

But after that I hooked it back up and it’s working now. Maybe the BBG was just over-heated.

Anyway, if you want me to do any other tests, I’m game.
