    I’ve tried that but no change I’m afraid.

    All I get is shash with this set up. And any others I’ve tried.

    I’ve got the output from the card going into the input of the monitor via SDI (BNC). By control panel do you mean ‘system prefs’ on a mac? I’ve got two options in the output – Analogue Y, B-Y, R-Y or Analogue NTSC/PAL (Y out). I’ve tried both but no change.

    Hi, yes SDI out of the card into the monitor. Trying to monitor SD. The monitor’s a JVC TM-1700-PM.

    I’ve had it working with this set up in the past except with a deck.
