Thanks David…that did not work…I had to dump the new version and reinstall the FCP5 to fix it due to a time crunch…and it cleared up the issue…seemed to be something with rendering…every video that needed rendering seemed to screw up??

Great Thanks Jeremy in diving into those menus I saw that someone had changed the frame rate…fixed right away..
