FCP6 outputs wrong video
Hey Folks,
I just upgraded to 6. When I went to output some footage to show a client it was the wrong footage. It was a random clip from the raw footage about 3 minutes prior to the clip in the sequence.
Also when I go to add a filter the same clip it goes to same strange video.
Any ideas what is going on??

Try fixing permissions using Disk Utilities and trash prefs.

Thanks David…that did not work…I had to dump the new version and reinstall the FCP5 to fix it due to a time crunch…and it cleared up the issue…seemed to be something with rendering…every video that needed rendering seemed to screw up??

trash your prefs/cache and render files to start with…
